A Family Farm With A Love For Horses

Derichs Farms started as a typical crop farm in 2014, but evolved into the boarding operation it is today. In 2022 there was a new 12 stall barn built along with dry lot paddocks and additional pastures. Then in 2024 the indoor arena was built. Our design kept in mind the vast diversity in disciplines. Our personal passion leans toward the western world, involving working cow horses, however many of our boarders also pursue dressage and jumping. Between the ample space, built in cattle pens for the ability to run cows inside, jumps, cool down stalls, wash stall, and grooming stalls, the arena is set up for whatever your needs are.

Derichs Farms has a lot to offer that you don’t normally see in a boarding facility. It sits on 300 plus acres, almost completely connected, with miles of trails or gravel roads to ride. We believe horses should be outside as often as possible, therefore we pride ourselves on keeping paddocks and pastures clean, as well as maintained all year round. Fences are all electric and checked often, and water sources are cleaned regularly. We believe in the importance of horses being able to graze full time, so they have access to forage 24/7 all year round. If you decide to board with us, you are welcome to use a veterinarian of your choice, but we are very fortunate to have an incredible working relationship with the local Watkins Vet Clinic. Care and detailed attention to your horse is our number one priority.
